How To Make Tasty Broccoli

[Music] what's up YouTube mr. deluxe here go to blue one for you guys today alright so a lot of you guys out there who are bodybuilding vegan it might not even be vegan but hey you guys all probably have this one thing in common and that's that you eat a lot of this stuff right here that's right I'm talking about good old broccoli right I've got a recipe today to show you how to make this stuff a lot more tasty there's a lot of you guys out there eat the stuff day in day out and I know you get sick of it real quick believe me when I was cutting for my competition so I asked to eat this stuff four times a day and trust me when you're eating steamed or boiled broccoli four times a day you get over it so the recipe I've got today is very simple very easy adds a few more extra calories to the broccoli but hey it's worth it in my opinion alright so what you do need obviously is a good amount of broccoli and a baking tray lined with parchment or baking paper you also do need some cooking spray I'm using a good old coconut oil today and also you need some seasoning right well I've got this one here today thanks to my housemate bling it is chilli and garlic and also has some good old Himalayan pink rock salt in there which is what you need if you're not going to use any seasoning I would suggest just salt it works just fine alright so let's get started first step is to set your oven to around 180 200 degrees I've got this crappy old oven here so I set it around 200 and that seems to work just fine for me yeah I am alright once we got the oven set it's time to get going on the broccoli so first thing we want to do is we want to cut it up into fairly small pieces you want to keep it even when you're cooking it you don't want pieces to get burned some not cooked evenly so keys to keep your sizes consistent alright nice day when you've got your broccoli or cut up nice and even just make sure that it's all pretty much the same size I think it's not you've got a few extra pieces just get your knife cutting down the middle get them nice and even Oh get away from me here nice and easy all right so once you've done that next step get your cooking spray and basically a light misting over all of it so it's just like this not too much but just enough to give it all a nice even coating next step is get your seasoning whatever seasoning you want like I said like chilli garlic and salt here you could do a pre key to do cumin you could do minced garlic you could do onion powder whatever tickles your fancy as long as you got something that you like chopped it on the top may I'm telling you all right so now that it's seasoned it's ready to go in the oven here we go into the oven that's in 1c broccoli is cooking away you want to set the timer for around 30 minutes that should be the ideal time for it to cook without it burning if by that time it's not cooked we'll leave it in another five minutes or so but we'll check on it 30 minutes or see how it's gone now the top tip for you broccoli stems don't throw them away you can use them in other recipes that I'll do in the future but ya can't hold on to them because they are packed full of nutrients and very very versatile guys thanks to the magic of the internet our broccoli is done all right let's have a look looks good right so what you're looking for is little flecks of brown on the top I used to want it to be green but you want it to be this more of like an off green color so we get some little crunchy bits they will taste delicious all right guys hope you enjoy just kidding remember if you have any questions feel free to leave them in the comment section below and you can always follow me on social media I have my Instagram my snapchat Facebook and I now also have my blog which you can follow links will be in the description thanks for watching guys give me a thumbs up

Bodybuilder tells “Why I went vegan”

[Music] top everybody Andres here representing will Jim just wanted to make a quick video today because a lot of people have been asking me why I'm gonna be there like hundreds your body builder you love eating me you need to eat me why and he'll be in I don't get it well basically it was a challenge that I sent myself I always said to myself I wanted to try being a vegetarian and my girlfriend she used to be a vegetarian she's now thinking kind of motivated me to go down that path so a couple months ago I said to myself alright look I'm gonna sit down write out a diet plan to see if I can go vegetarian for one week and see how my body reacts so I go to my computer work down the macros worked down my food and I looked at it and I was like oh I'm still eating eggs and a lot more when I was eating before so having this to have that and I was like you know what I get rid of this put in this and then this I'm like wait a minute this is I said maybe I should try and well you know my mom is a vegan my older sister is vegan my younger sister is be my girlfriend was vegetarian I had to all these influences around me and my mom started saying you know you should check out this guy on YouTube or you should check out this page bla bla bla so I did a bit of research started looking into it I said hey can't be that bad I'll try for a week or two and see what happens so I went and got all my plant-based vegan food started doing my meal prep and then started doing it for a week and you know what I felt I felt great after one week I was like you know what I'll keep going kept going and what I noticed was my energy level started going up my strength of the gym started going up I was more regular than I've ever been before I will save ourselves fighting a lot more but hey that's something they don't take you on you go vegan I'm telling you guys now that's gonna happen if you go be and be where you're gonna fart a lot more anyway enough of that it's basically my motivation to start going vegan and now that I've stuck with it for a couple months you know when you start something you start looking into it when you start researching and I started doing my research into veganism and started to learn about the ethical side of things which I never really understood before but when once you start looking into it you start realizing what is going on in the meat industry in the dairy industry the egg industry it's just beyond bullshit it's just fucked up and after seeing and reading some things and watching some videos it just turned me off they treat animals it's just bullshit why it's just it just makes me angry but whatever anyway so yeah after learning about that stuff it's not just an experiment anymore it's basically what I subscribe to now it's the lifestyle that I want to live in the lifestyle that I'm gonna keep living and to have the influences I have like my family and my partner around me just helps me and just makes it that much easier to keep going so yeah I know a lot of people think you know if you want to be a body good you want to Train you can't be vegan you're not gonna build any muscle you're gonna lose size well I'm telling you that bullshit you can get all the nutrients you need from plant-based food it's fucking simple all you have to do is know what you're doing know what you're eating know what's in your food and do your research right on telling you that's all you got to do but look anyway that was the video I want to make today just to share with you guys why you know if you've got any questions leave them down below you can follow me on social media I got my Instagram snapchat Facebook and also my blog which will be in the description below but yeah anyway guys I hope you enjoy the video [Music] [Music]

Vegan Bodybuilding grocery Shopping on a budget

Kailash here repin world gym so a lot of you guys out there sort of bodybuilding thinking about tuning vegan for whatever reason that may be whether it's for health ethical reasons but you're not too sure what type of food you can eat and what you should eat for bodybuilding it's going to cost more than a regular bodybuilding diet but I'm here today to show you what I eat on a weekly basis and how much it typically cost me or overlooked [Music] so as you can see you guys got quite a bit of food here for pretty cheap this cost me around 50 australian dollars i did get a few extra things in each of the week like the cumin turmeric and cinnamon and the garlic I wouldn't normally by this red quinoa but they started selling it now and it was two older path I just wanted to get it to see what it's like I've known really eating quinoa before the only thing I didn't manage to get was my tofu though all out unfortunately but usually I would buy prob about five packs material 52 is another twelve dollars 50 on top of that you know and you're looking at 60 bucks minus those things he wouldn't normally buy so it's sixty dollars for nearly a week's worth of food pretty damn good if I do say so myself as you just saw it's quite a bit of food I got there for you know pretty cheap back when I was hitting me if I wouldn't have got the tofu when we got the beans but instead it was like chicken breast maybe meant maybe kangaroo and I would have spent a lot more than I spent today and got a lot less food so just to show you that bodybuilding vegan style can be cheap and I definitely have saves a lot more money since going vegan so give it a try the way guys get any questions feel free to hit me up in some infections happiness any questions you have remember you can follow me on instagram here or snapchat here and yeah I'll see you guys later

Bulk Nutrients Vegan Range – Part One Earth Protein

[Music] sup everybody Andres here got something special for you guys today it's my first review video so the guys down a bolt nutrients have been kind enough to send me some samples to review and of course it is all vegan so I'm gonna be reviewing their entire vegan range and I want to start by saying these guys do not sponsor me I don't have I'm not getting paid or anything like that for this this is purely just a review video just to test out or see what they're vegan ranges like I've been buying powders from them for a while now I always found it was very good very high-quality in the beginning the flavors weren't always the best they didn't always hit the mark but in recent years have been putting a lot more effort into it and getting those flavors hidden the nail on the head you know I've only tried one vegan product of this and that is the both protein the salted caramel flavor but anyway get into that in a little bit so first of all I want to start by showing you the entire range that they have that's vegan so this is the entire vegan range over at bulk nutrients Comte you as you can see we've got three different types of protein soy pea and a protein which is a blend of rice and pea protein we've got B CAS we've got greens powder pre workouts test boosters fat burners and more pre-workout but yeah quite a selection I've got over there ok so the first protein that I'm gonna be reviewing is the earth blend so this is one that is a blend of brown rice and pea protein the flavor I've got here is chocolate this comes in three flavors you've got chocolate vanilla and salted caramel it has a complete amino acid profile it has 24 point 3 grams of protein per serve it also has 2.7 grams of carbs and 1.2 grams of fat ingredients we've got 100% organic yellow pea protein 100% organic brown rice protein and natural flavoring from stevia so what I'm going to do is follow the directions here it says to have it with 300 to 500 mils of liquid I'm going to use my shaker and see how goat's got my 400 mils of water and I'm gonna see how it mixes give it a shake check the consistency but if you can really see that but doesn't look very thick or too thick compared to normal way we'll give it a taste that is good better than I expected it's quite smooth it's got a ok chocolate flavor not not terrible but I've definitely had some worse ones from from whey protein definitely bigger then like wpr maybe add a distinct is like a casein protein quite nice doesn't really have the same texture consistency is way it's a little bit more powdery I guess you say it's got a it's got a good flavor for the amount of water I would say three to four hundred grams at 30 to 40 mils more is good if you have any new gel like you might water down too much but yeah this is this is nice I would definitely buy this flavor all right round two for the earth protein so up two more flavors here I have already tried the salted caramel I've been using that for about a month now so I'll come back to that one so today we are gonna try it the vanilla and see how that goes drop it on the bench whatever this one looks a little bit more powdery and compared to the chocolate feels I don't know it feels a lot more fine now when compared to like wipe her team yeah with me yeah just made a big mess all over the bench yeah I just made it be miss on the floor but who cares alright look some let's get to it let's see how this guy's gonna shake I'm gonna taste definitely notice flavorsome as chocolate I mean there's a hint of vanilla flavor there but really it tastes up a lot more like a like a natural flavor yeah actually says a lot like the salted caramel one to be honest and not a huge fan of the flavor of the salted caramel you know to be honest in my opinion it doesn't really taste like tear immortal I've tried the salted caramel for from bulk for whey protein back before I was a vegan and I loved that one they you know they got a flavor so right but that's why I ordered that plate first and when I got it and trying it i was i was quite letdown I mean it's not terrible it's not a bad tasting protein but it to me to else it doesn't taste like caramel and this has a very slight vanilla taste but I think to do with less water I think maybe 300 mils of water would be good just right now it's it's honestly quite watery but the textures good it's it's not too not too thick I feel like it's about the same as the chocolate I mean the mouthfeel is it's good you know it's not a lot of people are sent online with vegan proteins my friend is they're really chalky and you know they don't mix well in water warm these these are mixed well and what this is mixed well in water so far to me it tastes like the taste like soy protein the first the first protein powder over bought was soy protein years and years ago and it was a natural flavor it was unflavored and that's that's what this tastes like same with a sole count one they taste very similar personally so I'm gonna pick one flavor out of the three or off though I'm gonna pick the chocolate hand chocolate tastes better better than both of these but you know if you want to use the protein powders rather than just in the shake form and something like pancakes or some sort of cooking I'm sure they'd be fine yeah so put up the the price on both nutrients websites and the earth protein blends you can get so one kilo for twenty seven dollars you can go for kilos from ninety nine dollars saving $2 25 kilo eight kilos for $169 saving five dollars 19 kilo twelve kilos is the maximum you can buy at one time and that is two hundred and forty nine dollars seventy six dollars and twenty five cents a kilo the great thing about bulk is in any kilo Amanda sure that you buy you can select whatever flavor of protein per kilo so you can get say forget the four kilo you get two kilos of chocolate one of vanilla and one of salted camera some other quick notes totally vegan GMO free also high in essential amino acids BCAAs and glutamine so pretty much the ideal choice for vegan bodybuilders out there looking to build a maintain muscle it's low carb low fat high protein exactly what you want in a protein ice is cheap taste is good consistency is okay texture same sort of thing okay mixes well mix is easy you can mix it in a shaker which is good the only thing it's really lacking is variety and flavors but I'm sure the guys a bulk are working on that but yeah so that's my take on the earth protein blend stay tuned for the other ones coming up soon

My Vegan Weekend in Melbourne + Arnold Classic 2017

[Music] you [Music] [Music] pretty excited to be back in melbourne on my way to doggies gym now first session down here going to be trans back might run into some ifbb pros you never know this time of year arnold is happening so excited to be here can't wait expo tomorrow and then the pro show on Saturday night it's going to be a good weekend guys hey guys just got done training down at doggies smashed out a back and bi's session seen dexter jackson there shawn rhoden copper guys from my gym it was packed pack today i know i described from groceries grab some tofu and soy cheese cauliflower asparagus and some oats just some food for the days ahead so I'm not eating out all the time space of money anyway checking with you guys soon yes first meal down here in Melbourne when you're staying with your sister and she doesn't have any balls big enough to fit your meal you've got to use the big mixing bowl time to eat some in the city now on my way to grab coffee before the first at the expo lot colder then gold coast but not too bad bout thirty in the morning pretty busy what the coffee and got my second meal all day I've got tofu broccoli and cauliflower a lot my avocado at home so with my facts I'm out that's right don't cheat meal 6 and ayah so you guys know what I have then anyway after this I'll be heading over to South Bay to the expo hopefully meet some guys and meet up with some people I know i'll see you guys in the other side of Elvis so you don't know what on my way to the expo now we're walking through the city coming up over the south bank walk another bridge over sticky and sweaty up there whereas down here when its pod itself it's nice it's horrible because it's got a cool breeze that yeah the humidity is really low had a coffee had two meals and now I'm just walking around not too sure what I'm going to do stress today but that's beauty of being down here I don't really have any plans I didn't want to get up your expert for a second day just because it's the same you know got but the pro show tonight that'll be good but it's good to go watch the pros battle it out for GR the title of Commerce patient winner 2017 but ya allah [Music] [Music] Oh [Music] banana and some cinnamon they're going up the gym and trade some arms today after that I'm gonna have some dinner not sure thing I have if I'm getting it out of them when they just buy something for the supermarket after that I'm going to be hidden up the pro show tonight back in South Bank and be good night [Music] finish my last session Adobe's walking back get feed now have a protein shake right so here's my dinner for tonight I've got two burgers sandwiches that I just me we've got our vegan burger panting that's a soy cheese right captain fried spring onion salsa picante and also fried zucchini all on a multigrain slice of bread don't have any lettuce hanging on back but this looks pretty damn good in a can't wait to eat it [Music] [Music] Oh [Applause] [Music] [Applause] knew he would and I don't even know who the other guys were really so which sucks because the first two years it was big news big news big names last morning in Melbourne just going to get myself a coffee and now just walking to the IGA to grab some veggies for the plane because I've got nothing and knowing me I'm going to be starving on that plane so yesterday I walked twenty nine thousand steps safe to say my feet are pretty right now so I just got myself some food for the plane I got myself a cucumber tomato and avocado from the IGA as you can see there I cost me 10 box what the [Music] at the airport now gonna get check in and get on my flight back home run a light first off on a light idea apply now [Music] playing got the verdict Brisbane sitting here waiting to find out what happens it was soon 30 minutes a review on are you better getting off the plane your brisbane get a bus down [Music] so got ourselves the water to stay hydrated of course but yeah it's going to be fun another hour or so back to the Gulf Coast great way to end my trip age welcome home to Queensland we're getting closer to me I saw him back on the coat just had my pre-workout meal and I'm POST WORKOUT MEAL // Chickpeas & Rice

My favorite Post Workout meal Chickpeas & Rice.

STEP ONE ► Preheat frying pan to medium heat – spray with coconut oil.

STEP TWO► Chop up all veggies

STEP THREE► Fry veggies for about 5-7 minutes – stir to keep them from sticking.

STEP FOUR► Rinse, drain and blend chickpeas, add some extra water to the blender.

STEP FIVE► Add chickpeas, more water, garlic, spices to the veggies in the pan.

STEP SIX► Mix everything together and cook for a further 10 minutes until water reduces.

STEP SEVEN► Get your rice ready (basmati for me)

STEP EIGHT► Add veggies to your rice and top with baked kale for some crunch!

STEP NINE► Eat it and enjoy the gains!

Protein – 27g / Carbs – 114.1g / Fats – 8.5g / Calories -678.8kcals

Friday Night // Vegan Kofta Dinner

[Music] so pick these up at kohls the other day chickpea and red lentil copters they are vegan as you can see here oh and a 4.5 out of 5 star rating so they must be goofy way anyway got these wanted to try them because I never really eat things like this on the regular and today's Friday night you know like something a little bit different alright so I'm just going to be frying these bad boys up and in here we have leftover sweet enterprise not many but enough and we're going to be also making a salad and some veggies to go with them so I'll show you guys how that comes out [Music] [Music] Oh [Music] so in the kitchen cooking my cough is my dizzily my thing is after touch them they catch you I'm excited to eat these bad boys so pull it through let's all these little bad boys all right so costly to cook their you cook salads done clicks enterprise are cooling down as you can see life is good and gains will remain so there's my meal complete with everything and you know we got that fatten tomato sauce no added sugar of course fellow sweet sweet shred gains [Music] hey guys i just want to finish off this video real quick by saying that those copters were delicious yeah a lot tastier than what I normally have a post-workout meal I could be following my blog link down below and you'll know that I pre-planned food for the most part the reason behind that is when I do have I'm sugar meal or cheat meal or whatever you want to call it because I'm eating plain through most of the time but a cheat meal taste that much better and it just makes you appreciate through so much more if you haven't already go check out my chickpeas and wife of yours here and you'll see that's what i normally eats my post-workout meal I via anyway just want to run to go up and don't forget to like comment share subscribe follow me on my snapchat Instagram Facebook follow my blog check it out give it a like give it a thumbs up do all that stuff I don't care i just want to get it's the famous naija [Music]

4 Ingredient VEGAN pancakes

This is my recipe for 4 ingredient vegan banana and oat pancakes. It’s prefect for a pre or post workout meal, breakfast, cheat meal or even just a snack!
This recipe makes 6 mini pancakes and you can alter the quantities to suit you.

Ingredients
60g Quick Oats
1 Large Banana
60ml Soy Milk
Cinnamon to taste
Coconut oil (for cooking)

Nutritional Information
Protein: 10.7g
Carbs: 66.5g
Fat: 6.8g
Calories: 388kcals

Step 1: Preheat your pan on a medium heat and peel and mash your banana inside of a large mixing bowl
Step 2: Add your oats, cinnamon and half of your soy milk and mix together with a fork.
Step 3: Add the remaining soy milk and continue to mix with fork.
Step 4: Spray your pan with coconut oil and spoon the mixture into the pan one by one.
Step 5: After about 2 minutes you can flip each mini pancake (ensure that the bottom is golden first).
Step 6: Cook for a further minute on the flipped side – cook remaining mixture.
Step 7: Plate pancakes, add toppings (sugarless maple syrup in my case) and enjoy!
